MLD is a light, skin-stretching massage that helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid out of the swollen limb. It should not be confused with a traditional massage. MLD is specifically focused on the lymph vessels to help the flow of lymphatic fluid. Therapy is applied to your unaffected areas first, making it possible for the fluid to move out of the affected area, or “decongest” the region. MLD helps open the remaining functioning lymph collectors and move protein and fluid into them, as well as to help speed up lymph fluid flow through the lymphatics.

  Thai Yoga Massage & Trauma-Informed Care is a two-day deep dive that provides practitioners with comprehensive foundational TYM techniques. We will also examine the impact that personal and collective trauma has on the systems of the body (mental, emotional, and energetic) and ways to provide therapeutic healing treatments.

  Practitioners will learn and practice how to become more attuned and sensitive with their recipients and strengthen their internal capacity for more compassion and loving-kindness.

  This course is suitable for beginners, advanced students, repeaters, and bodywork enthusiasts interested in deepening their practice and engaging in conversations of personal and collective healing. 

  This training will concentrate on sideline position and Osteothai techniques that support trauma healing.

Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing practice that flows like a graceful dance between the giver and receiver. In this upcoming foundational immersion with Dominique, we will delve into the feminine approach to Thai Yoga Massage. This unique approach embodies the dynamic qualities of the feminine, encouraging us to become more receptive, attuned, and connected to way of devotion. Throughout the immersion, we will deepen our understanding of human anatomy, cultivate mindfulness and compassion, and rediscover the transformative power of touch.

During this immersion, we will explore:

• - A foundational Thai Yoga massage sequence, including Supine and Prone positions, guided by Dominique.

• - The significance of cultivating a nurturing and compassionate presence as a practitioner.

• - Techniques for working with the energy of the body, including chakras and energy lines (meridians).

• - Incorporating elements of self-care and self-love into the massage practice.

Dominique is a dedicated Thai Yoga Massage facilitator and practitioner with a wealth of experience in the field. She is a licensed massage therapist and a graduate of the esteemed Florida School of Massage and Hydrotherapy. With a passion for sharing her knowledge, Dominique instructs CEU certified Thai Yoga Massage trainings worldwide, infusing both traditional and innovative sequences developed by Native Thai and Western teachers.

As a committed practitioner, Dominique has traveled to Thailand annually to assist Thai Yoga Massage trainings with Ralf Marzen, the founder of Mudita School of Thai Yoga Massage in London. In this one day course Uwe will share the history of aromatherapy, it’s effectiveness and the modes of action of essential oils. Uwe attended the University of Darmstadt where he received his Ph.D. in natural sciences and is now teaching Organic Chemistry at Simon Fraser University.
